Rosabel Goodman-Everard

One day the water stopped flowing. The blooming trees on the riverbed withered and died and the creatures living in and among them disappeared. Stark shapes were all that remained. The only solution was to work with these shapes. It remained dry and dark for a long time. Then, slowly, the water started returning.

Elizabeth Grusin-Howe

Grusin-Howe returns to painting and chooses subjects that have deep emotional attachments like the Bay, Italy, and figurative work. On this leg of her artistic journey, she revisits the medium and subject matter as a great adventure.

The Bellini Project
Laura Litten

As a filmmaker, I am driven toward movement: the stillness of the painted picture, the antithesis of film, drives my new series of paintings. My obsession with the compression of Nature into a visual moment explores the non-linear, irrational elements that mark our experience of the sublime and its counterpoint in contemporary American landscape.
