Description/Mission: Rainbow Families is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that educates, connects, and supports LGBTQ+ families and parents-to-be. Rainbow Families reaches over 3,000 families through our membership, communications, programs, and our signature social and educational events each year. In 2019 Rainbow Families was named "One of the Best" nonprofit organizations by the Catalogue for Philanthropy.

Organization: Ayuda
Description/Mission: Ayuda (which means "help" in Spanish) provides a wide range of immigration and family law assistance, along with social services support, for immigrants from anywhere in the world. Ayuda offers comprehensive services for immigrant survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence – many of whom fear that the police, courts, and even shelters will not protect them. Ayuda advocates for low-income immigrants through direct legal, social and language services, training and outreach in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Ayuda envisions a community where all immigrants succeed and thrive in the United States.
