ARTIST STATEMENT
I aim for my work to encourage curiosity. I feel that it’s important for me to work on a modest scale, to make work that is approachable and allows curiosity to happen. I have a need to communicate suggestions of my inner life through my work, although my job is not to come to conclusions, but more to allow questions to arise in the viewer. If any of my ideas get communicated, it is because both I and the viewer have allowed our minds to wander.
