Studio Gallery has had an amazing team of young ladies running the gallery for the summer. As they head onto their next endeavors this fall, we would like to thank them for their hard work and enthusiastic support of the gallery.
Skye will head back to England to finish her degree in Archeology. She stepped in to help us out for the summer and proved to have a real knack for arts management. She kept everything running beautifully and leaves the gallery in a very organized state. We will miss the cheerful way she went about her job and her most common response - "Already done". I can't imagine that anyone could have done the job better than Skye did it.
Jessica enters her final year of her Corcoran program in Art Studies. She is going to be focusing on writing her thesis; her year will be challenging but we hope to see a little bit of her. For the year and a half she spent at the gallery, she was always ready to step in and get necessary work done. Always competent, we gave her more and more work to do. She would approach us with ideas to improve the gallery and a plan to get them done. She has generously given the gallery a lot of time, a lot of energy and a lot of common sense.
Camila has also been very generous to the gallery. She will be finishing her final year at the Corcoran and will start an internship at the Phillips Collection in September. She led the team that put together the history portion of the recent show and with Jessica, organized Art All Night for Sept. 26. Come on down for the event. The two of them have put together a fantastic night. Camila has spent a lot of time at the gallery and has always been ready to take on a new challenge.
FRANCISCA RUDOLPH
Fran spent the summer interning at the gallery and will spend this year finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Mathematics. She spent many hours working on behalf of the gallery and we hope to see her back on occasion. Thank you Fran.
And a final thank you to Katelyn Grabski, who will be finishing up her studies in Art History at Catholic University.
Thank you to you all!!!!
