A message from Studio Gallery Director Halley Sun Stubis
"It is with much gratitude and heartfelt thanks that I am writing to acknowledge my transition out of Studio Gallery this summer after three delightful years as director. Thank you not just to our board and talented artist cooperative, but also to our enthusiastic supporters, visitors, and the exceptional organizations we have partnered with over the years.
Art brings people together in a way that goes beyond words. It has been my true pleasure to help orchestrate an environment of peace, artistic excellence, and togetherness at Washington D.C.’s most historic artist cooperative. I look forward to watching Studio Gallery continue to grow and thrive under its new leadership."
“Madison King has been involved with Studio Gallery since 2022, and in that time she has developed a deep understanding of and passion for this community. Her background in art management, production coordination, and leadership make her a fantastic fit for Studio Gallery.
Madison’s passions are in perfect alignment with the Studio Gallery community: as a proponent for representation, community engagement, and outreach, she aims to effectively manage art spaces while prioritizing the needs of local and underrepresented fine artists.
We are delighted and thrilled to officially welcome Madison as our new director this August 2024, and greatly look forward to the vibrant energy, enthusiasm, and intellect she brings.”
